The increasing popularity of today’s new kitchen garden has inspired me to share some of what I’ve learned digging around in the dirt for over 20 years in my own vegetable and herb gardens.

As the contributing editor of the now defunct Fresh Cooking From your Garden I spent many years writing garden cooking articles.  I’ll be sharing many of those past favorites along with some brand new ones that I’m writing especially for Fresh From Your Garden.

Be sure to grab the rss feed at the top of this page so you don’t miss a thing.

Kitchen gardening is back with a vengiance and I’m here to help you grow the garden of your dreams.

  1. I am wondering, I compost… I think you should start a blog on composting.. I have also just learned that though we do not compost meat, dairy etc.. there’s a new funeral arangement ( read”STIFF”) where they actually can now use humans (plant something from the “compost” for your loved one to stay near) they remove all water(freeze dried and we become oxygen among other stuff for the compost heap.. Interesting?..NO? guess its for us composters that hate to waste an organic product, its also very safe and clean and enviormentally sound..
Ive been composting for a few yaers, but would still love to read more on it……

  2. just checking back to see if you’d any thing new about composting, but I guess I am the only one interested??? How very sad ,as the world grows, this will become one of our biggest help to save the seeds(not the frozen ones in the tundra, but the roots of family and delicious meals we share. sorry guess you are not up to this yet, w/ your gardening tips….. hope so , one day it may save all mankind.

  3. GUESS YOU REALLY ARE VERY BUSY… MAYBE YOU COULD LET ME KNOW?
